The original house sits back from a typical row of terraces. The scope extended to the ground floor only, the existing upper levels supported by new structure allowing for an open living level. The space has a court at each end with a highly polished floor helping to draw the light in. Built for a chef and his family, the first room you enter is the kitchen, dominated by a large concrete bench.
